Have Hope

Image
For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope and overflow with confidence in His promises. — Romans 15:4 (AMP) Psalms 119:114 (NLT) says, His word is our source of hope. May we search the Holy Scriptures daily and be encouraged and filled with hope, knowing that Yahweh fulfills every promise He has made. “So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary.” (Hebrews 6:18-19 NLT) I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. — Roman...

Be Transformed

Image
And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you]. — Romans 12:2 (AMP) Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, and stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you. Instead, let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes. (See Romans 12:2 NLT & TPT) As followers of Christ and children of light let us become imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father]; (See Ephesians 5:1 AMP)

More Than Conquerors

Image
“Yet even in the midst of all these things, we triumph over them all, for God has made us to be more than conquerors, and his demonstrated love is our glorious victory over everything!” — Romans 8:37 (TPT) In the midst of ALL these things —troubles, pressures, problems, persecutions, deprivations, dangers, and death threats (See Romans 8:35), we are more than conquerors. Notice the Word says: “ IN the midst,” that means that while we are still going through them we already have the victory. Hallelujah! So now we can live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. (See Romans 8:38-39 TPT) For God has proved his love by giving us his greatest treasure, the gift of his Son… (See Romans 8:32 TPT). Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ... (See 2 Corinthians 2:14 NKJV). And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose....

Be Fully Convinced

Image
“Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God. He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises.” — Romans 4:20-21 (NLT) We can be fully convinced that God is able, and will do as He promised. He watches over His Word to perform it. In Isaiah 55:10-11 (NKJV) the LORD says: “For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him. (Psalms 18:30 NKJV) Never waver in believing the Word of God. The LORD fulfills His Word.

No Excuse

Image
But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness. They know the truth about God because he has made it obvious to them. For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God. — Romans 1:18-20 (NLT) Romans 1:21 says: Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused. They traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshiped and served the things God created instead of the Creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise! Amen. (Romans 1:25) Let us worship Yahweh, the living God, in spirit and truth. (See John 4:24) We demonstrate that God’s law is written in our hearts, for our own conscience and thoughts e...

Sincerely Seek Him

Image
O God, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly; My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. — Psalms 63:1 (NASB1995) Sincerely seek the LORD our God, and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul. Because His lovingkindness is better than life, may our lips praise Him. Let us bless the LORD as long as we live and lift up our hands in His name. He satisfies our souls. Offer praises to Him with joyful lips. He is our help, and in the shadow of His wings we sing for joy. May our souls cling to Yahweh. His right hand upholds us. (See Psalms 63:3-5 & 7-8) As the deer pants for the water brooks, so my soul pants for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God; When shall I come and appear before God? — Psalms 42:1-2 (NASB1995)

Patiently Endure

Image
“ In everything we do, we show that we are true ministers of God. We patiently endure troubles and hardships and calamities of every kind. We have been beaten, been put in prison, faced angry mobs, worked to exhaustion, endured sleepless nights, and gone without food. ” — 2 Corinthians 6:4-5 (NLT) In 2 Corinthians 7:5 (NLT) the apostle Paul says: “When we arrived in Macedonia, there was no rest for us. We faced conflict from every direction, with battles on the outside and fear on the inside.” When we are faced with any kind of hardships and troubles let us patiently endure. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. (James 1:3-4 NLT) Of course, you get no credit for being patient if you are beaten for doing wrong. But if you suffer for doing good and endure it patiently, God is pleased with you. (1 Peter 2:20 NLT) So let’s not get tired ...

Learn to Rely on God

Image
“ We think you ought to know, dear brothers and sisters, about the trouble we went through in the province of Asia. We were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure, and we thought we would never live through it. In fact, we expected to die. But as a result, we stopped relying on ourselves and learned to rely only on God, who raises the dead. And he did rescue us from mortal danger, and he will rescue us again. We have placed our confidence in him, and he will continue to rescue us. ” — 2 Corinthians 1:8-10 (NLT) As a result of our challenges and troubles, may we learn to trust solely in Yahweh. He will not only rescue us from all of our troubles, He will comfort us and strengthen us in the midst of them as well. “We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed.” (2 Corinthians 4:8-9 NLT) For a righteous man may fall se...

A Wonderful Secret

Image
“ But let me reveal to you a wonderful secret. We will not all die, but we will all be transformed! It will happen in a moment, in the blink of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to live forever. And we who are living will also be transformed. For our dying bodies must be transformed into bodies that will never die; our mortal bodies must be transformed into immortal bodies. ” — 1 Corinthians 15:51-53 (NLT) “…Our earthly bodies are planted in the ground when we die, but they will be raised to live forever. Our bodies are buried in brokenness, but they will be raised in glory. They are buried in weakness, but they will be raised in strength. They are buried as natural human bodies, but they will be raised as spiritual bodies. For just as there are natural bodies, there are also spiritual bodies.” (1 Corinthians 15:42-44 NLT) …thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ. (See 1 Corint...

Love Large

Image
“ Love is large and incredibly patient. Love is gentle and consistently kind to all. It refuses to be jealous when blessing comes to someone else. Love does not brag about one’s achievements nor inflate its own importance. Love does not traffic in shame and disrespect, nor selfishly seek its own honor. Love is not easily irritated or quick to take offense. Love joyfully celebrates honesty and finds no delight in what is wrong. Love is a safe place of shelter, for it never stops believing the best for others. Love never takes failure as defeat, for it never gives up. ” — 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (TPT) Beloved, let us [unselfishly love and seek the best for one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves [others] is born of God and knows God [through personal experience]. (1 John 4:7 AMP) Let everything you do be done in love [motivated and inspired by God’s love for us]. (1 Corinthians 16:14 AMP)  “ And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is lov...

The Way of Escape

Image
No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. — 1 Corinthians to 10:13 (NKJV) Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. (James 1:13-14 NKJV) “Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” (Matthew 26:41 NKJV) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. (1 Peter 5:8) May Yahweh give us the strength and wisdom to always take the way of escape. Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. — James...

Loaded with Benefits

Image
Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits, the God of our salvation! Selah — Psalms 68:19 (NKJV) Notice that the Scripture says “ daily ” we are loaded with benefits. It's not every once in a while, but EVERY day that our Heavenly Father loads us with more benefits and blessings than we are able to count. Open your heart to Him and receive them, each and every day. His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; (See Lamentations 3:22-23 NASB1995) Bless Yahweh, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless Yahweh, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits; Who pardons all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion; Who satisfies your years with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle. (Psalms 103:1-5 LSB) What will I give to the LORD [in return] for all His benefits toward me? [How can I repay Him for His precious blessings?] I will l...

Declare His Faithfulness

Image
Now you have every spiritual gift you need as you eagerly wait for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. He will keep you strong to the end so that you will be free from all blame on the day when our Lord Jesus Christ returns. God will do this, for he is faithful to do what he says, and he has invited you into partnership with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. — 1 Corinthians 1:7-9 (NLT) Psalms 92:1-2 (NKJV) says: It is good to give thanks to the LORD, and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning, and Your faithfulness every night. His faithfulness endures to all generations; (See Psalms 119:90 NKJV) So, we can have unwavering trust and rely on Yahweh with great confidence. Faithful and absolutely trustworthy is He who is calling you [to Himself for your salvation], and He will do it [He will fulfill His call by making you holy, guarding you, watching over you, and protecting you as His own]. (1 Thessalonians 5:24 AMP) Just as Yahweh is fait...

Seek to Please God

Image
“ For we speak as messengers approved by God to be entrusted with the Good News. Our purpose is to please God, not people. He alone examines the motives of our hearts. ” — 1 Thessalonians 2:4 (NLT) Instead of seeking to please people and gain popularity, may we seek to please our Heavenly Father, Who never leaves us nor forsakes us. He created us with a purpose and has good plans for us. Serve Him with a whole heart and a willing mind; for the LORD searches all hearts, and understands every intent of the thoughts. (See 1 Chronicles 28:9 NASB1995) Proverbs 16:7 says: When a man’s ways are pleasing to the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him. And the one who does the will of God and carries out His purposes lives forever. (See 1 John 2:17 AMP) “ Finally, dear brothers and sisters, we urge you in the name of the Lord Jesus to live in a way that pleases God, as we have taught you. You live this way already, and we encourage you to do so even more. ” — 1 Thessalonians 4:1...

Build Each Other Up

Image
For God chose to save us through our Lord Jesus Christ, not to pour out his anger on us. Christ died for us so that, whether we are dead or alive when he returns, we can live with him forever. So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing. — 1 Thessalonians 5:9-11 (NLT) The life of believers is not about competition. We are all one in Christ and on the same team. May we never compare our lives or ourselves with another person. But continually encourage one another every day, as long as it is called “Today”... (See Hebrews 3:13 AMP). Instead of trying to tear each other down, let us build each other up. See that no one pays back evil for evil, but always try to do good to each other and to all people. (1 Thessalonians 5:15 NLT)

Turn to Him

Image
The God who made the world and all things in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands; nor is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, since He Himself gives to all people life and breath and all things; and He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation, — Acts 17:24-26 (NASB1995) Yahweh gives to ALL people. Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. (James 1:17 NASB1995) He determined our appointed times, giving each person a time and place to live and thrive. We are here for such a time as this, called according to His purpose and plan. “His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him—though he is not far from any one of us. (Acts 17:27 NLT) “ God overl...

He is Merciful

Image
“The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.” — Psalms 103:8 (NKJV) All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth, to such as keep His covenant and His testimonies. (Psalms 25:10 NKJV) He forgives all our iniquities, heals all our diseases, redeems our lives from destruction, and crowns us with lovingkindness and tender mercies. (See Psalms 103:3-4) May we draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (See Hebrews 4:16 NASB1995) Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; Yes, our God is merciful. The LORD preserves the simple; I was brought low, and He saved me. (Psalms 116:5-6 NKJV) Let us be merciful, just as our Heavenly Father is merciful. (See Luke 6:36)

Fear Not

Image
“For the thing I greatly feared has come upon me, and what I dreaded has happened to me.” — Job 3:25 (NKJV) In Job 1:8, the LORD said there was none on the earth like His servant Job. He described him as a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil. God had provided this blessed, safe and prosperous life for Job, but Job still lived with fear and dread. When we fear, we allow the enemy to come and steal, kill and destroy what our heavenly Father has provided for us — peace, love, joy, victory, etc. Let us remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (See 2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV) There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. (1 John 4:18 NKJV) “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us].” (Romans 8:37 AMP)

Pray & Praise

Image
A mob quickly formed against Paul and Silas, and the city officials ordered them stripped and beaten with wooden rods. They were severely beaten, and then they were thrown into prison. The jailer was ordered to make sure they didn’t escape. So the jailer put them into the inner dungeon and clamped their feet in the stocks. — Acts 16:22-24 (NLT) Acts 16:25 says, around midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening. The Word doesn’t say they were complaining, nor crying out to God “why me?” Instead, they maintained their peace, joy and faith in Yahweh and prayed and praised the God of heaven and earth. Acts 16:26 says, suddenly, there was a massive earthquake, and the prison was shaken to its foundations. All the doors immediately flew open, and the chains of every prisoner fell off! So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials… (See 2 Peter 2:7-9 NLT) However, the prisoners were all accounted for when th...

Persevere Under Trial

Image
Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. — James 1:12 (NASB) And not only this, but [with joy] let us exult in our sufferings and rejoice in our hardships, knowing that hardship (distress, pressure, trouble) produces patient endurance; and endurance, proven character (spiritual maturity); and proven character, hope and confident assurance [of eternal salvation]. Such hope [in God’s promises] never disappoints us, because God’s love has been abundantly poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. (Romans 5:3-5 AMP) And you will be hated by everyone because of [your association with] My name, but it is the one who has patiently persevered and endured to the end who will be saved. — Matthew 10:22 (AMP)

Take Refuge

Image
Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me! For my soul trusts in You; And in the shadow of Your wings I will make my refuge, until these calamities have passed by. I will cry out to God Most High, to God who performs all things for me. He shall send from heaven and save me; He reproaches the one who would swallow me up. Selah
God shall send forth His mercy and His truth. — Psalms 57:1-3 (NKJV) Be still, and know that Yahweh is God (the great “I AM”); The One Who performs ALL things for us. He will be exalted among the nations, He will be exalted in the earth! The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah (See Psalms 46:10-11 & Exodus 3:13-14 NKJV) Take refuge in the shadow of His wings.

Worship in Spirit & Truth

Image
“God is spirit [the Source of life, yet invisible to mankind], and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” — John 4:24 (AMP) “Opposition to truth cannot be excused on the basis of ignorance, because from the creation of the world, the invisible qualities of God’s nature have been made visible, such as his eternal power and transcendence. He has made his wonderful attributes easily perceived, for seeing the visible makes us understand the invisible. So then, this leaves everyone without excuse.” (Romans 1:20 TPT) “From now on, worshiping the Father will not be a matter of the right place but with a right heart. For God is a Spirit, and he longs to have sincere worshipers who adore him in the realm of the Spirit and in truth.” (John 4:23-24 TPT) All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to Yahweh, and all the families of the nations will worship before You. For the kingdom is Yahweh’s and He rules over the nations. — Psalms 22:27-28 (LSB)

Don't Be Surprised

Image
Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. — 1 Peter 4:12 (NLT) In Isaiah 43:2-3 (NASB1995) Yahweh says: “ When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you. For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior...” Notice that the Scripture says “ when ” and not “if.” Know that we will have some flood waters, stormy seas, and fiery furnace experiences. Here on earth we will have many trials and sorrows. (See John 16:33 NLT) However, Yahweh promised to be with you and He is faithful to bring you through it all. The Scripture says you will pass through the water and walk through the fire. These trials and troubles are temporary but our great God is eternal. And nothing, absolutely nothing is too difficult for Him. “ No man will be able to stand before you...

Don't Stray

Image
Surely our griefs He Himself bore, and our sorrows He carried; Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, and by His scourging we are healed. All of us like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; But the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him. — Isaiah 53:4-6 (NASB1995) May we not be like sheep who stray away from the good Shepherd. As a disciple of Christ, make a decision to follow Yeshua and stay close to Him, at all times. He gave His all for us, let us give our all to Him (our minds, our will, our ways, etc.). Instead of turning to our own way, let us turn to the Word of God. Psalms 119:66-68 (NASB1995) says: Teach me good discernment and knowledge, for I believe in Your commandments. Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep Your word. You are good and do good; Teach me Y...

Obey God

Image
Then they brought the apostles before the high council, where the high priest confronted them. “We gave you strict orders never again to teach in this man’s name!” he said. “Instead, you have filled all Jerusalem with your teaching about him, and you want to make us responsible for his death!” But Peter and the apostles replied, “We must obey God rather than any human authority.” — Acts 5:27-29 (NLT) In Acts 4:18, the apostles were commanded to never again speak or teach in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John replied, “Do you think God wants us to obey you rather than him? We cannot stop telling about everything we have seen and heard.” (Acts 4:19-20 NLT) As the Apostle Peter said: “We must obey God rather than men.” In Luke 12:5 (TPT), Jesus said: “The one you must fear is God, for he has both the power to take your life and the authority to cast your soul into hell. Yes, the only one you need to fear is God.” The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever trusts in and puts his confi...

Call on The Name

Image
For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him, for “Whoever calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.” — Romans 10:12-13 (LSB) …this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: “‘In the last days,’ God says, ‘I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams. In those days I will pour out my Spirit even on my servants—men and women alike— and they will prophesy. And I will cause wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below— blood and fire and clouds of smoke. The sun will become dark, and the moon will turn blood red before that great and glorious day of the LORD arrives. But everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.’” (Acts 2:16-21 NLT) “And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among mankind by which we must be save...

Continue to Believe

Image
“The disciples saw Jesus do many other miraculous signs in addition to the ones recorded in this book. But these are written so that you may continue to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing in him you will have life by the power of his name.” — John 20:30-31 (NLT) In John 20:29, Jesus told Thomas: “You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me.” No matter what events take place on this earth, may we continue to believe that Yeshua is the Messiah, and be blessed. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be disappointed.” (Romans 10:11 NASB1995) The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; Yeshua came that we may have life, and have it abundantly. (See John 10:10) Amen. And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. — Hebrews 11:6 (NLT)

A Very Present Help

Image
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. — Psalms 46:1 (NASB1995) We may have reservations about asking people for help, depending on the nature of the challenge and the type of relationship we have with that person. However, we need never fear going to our Heavenly Father. He is Jehovah Shammah, the God who is always with you. He is with us as an ever-present help. He is El Roi, the God Who Sees you. He knows the anguish of your soul and He has heard your affliction. Trust Yahweh with all your heart. Rely completely on Him, in every situation. In Hebrews 13:5-6 (NASB1995), He said: “I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you,” so that we confidently say, “The LORD is my helper, I will not be afraid. What will man do to me?” Nothing is too difficult for our great GOD. No fear, no pacing, no biting fingernails. When the earth spins out of control, we are sure and fearless. When mountains crumble and the waters run wild, we are sure and fearless. — P...

“Father, Forgive Them”

Image
When they came to the place called The Skull, there they crucified Him and the criminals, one on the right and the other on the left. But Jesus was saying, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.” And they cast lots, dividing up His garments among themselves. — Luke 23:33-34 (NASB1995) Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions. (Mark 11:25 NASB1995) In Exodus 34:7, the LORD proclaims that He keeps lovingkindness for thousands, and forgives iniquity, transgression and sin; yet He will by no means leave the guilty unpunished...  If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9 NASB1995)  Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you. (Ephesians 4:32) In Matthew 6:14-15, Jesus said: “For if you forgive oth...

The Bread of Life

Image
Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst.” — John 6:35 (NASB1995) Jesus then said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread out of heaven, but it is My Father who gives you the true bread out of heaven. For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven, and gives life to the world.” Then they said to Him, “Lord, always give us this bread.” (John 6:32-34 NASB1995) May we always desire Yeshua, the Bread of Life. He is the only One Who can fully satisfy our hunger and quench our thirst.  Psalms 104:15 (AMP) says it is bread that sustains and strengthens man’s heart. “Why do you spend money for that which is not bread, and your earnings for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight in abundance.” (Isaiah 55:2 AMP)

Let Us Rejoice

Image
“This is the day which Yahweh has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it.” — Psalms 118:24 (LSB)  Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! (Philippians 4:4 NASB) For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. (Ecclesiastes 3:1 NLT) No matter what season you are going through, you can rejoice because Yahweh is with you, and He will bring you through. Every day of your life was recorded in His book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. (See Psalms 139:16 NLT) So, He knows the plans He has for you. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. (See Jeremiah 29:11 NLT) I will be glad and rejoice in your unfailing love, for you have seen my troubles, and you care about the anguish of my soul. You have not handed me over to my enemies but have set me in a safe place. — Psalms 31:7-8 (NLT)

Keep the Faith

Image
And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.” — Luke 22:31-32 (NKJV) Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though something strange were happening to you; (1 Peter 4:12 NASB) Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. (1 Peter 5:8 NASB) May your faith not fail in times of trials, troubles, and temptations. Continue to fight the good fight, finish the course, and keep the faith. (See 2 Timothy 4:7 NASB)

Seek His Will

Image
“And He went a little beyond them, and fell to the ground and began to pray that if it were possible, the hour might pass Him by. And He was saying, “Abba! Father! All things are possible for You; remove this cup from Me; yet not what I will, but what You will .” — Mark 14:35-36 (NASB1995) May we truly desire for the will of Yahweh to be done in our lives and on this earth, even when it may involve some suffering for us. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us. (Romans 8:18 NASB1995) The LORD says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.” (Psalms 32:8 NLT) In Matthew 7:21 (NASB1995), Yeshua says: “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.” “For whoever does the will of God [by believing in Me, and following Me], he is My brother and sister and...

He is Good to All

Image
The LORD is gracious and merciful; Slow to anger and great in lovingkindness. The LORD is good to all, and His mercies are over all His works. — Psalms 145:8-9 (NASB1995) Yahweh generously gives us what is good, His grace and glory. No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly. (See Psalms 84:11 NASB1995) He is everything we need. He is El Shaddai, the all-sufficient, all-bountiful, Almighty God. He is the very source of ALL our blessings. He is Elohim, the all-powerful Creator of the universe and all it contains. He formed our innermost parts and knit us together in the womb of our mother. (See Psalms 139:13) He is Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. He foresees all of our needs. Matthew 6:8 says, our Father knows what we need before we ask Him. “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” (Matthew 7:11 NKJV)  Yahweh is Jehovah Shalom, our peace. He will...

Love Never Fails

Image
“ Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold. ” — Matthew 24:12 (NLT) A quick glimpse of the nightly news will give evidence to the words Yeshua spoke in Matthew 24:12. As those who have been clothed with garments of salvation and wrapped with a robe of righteousness, let us work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord.  (See Isaiah 61:10 NASB1995 & Hebrews 12:14 NLT) The greatest of all commandments is to love God and to love our neighbor. (See Matthew 22:37-39) In John 13:34-35, Yeshua says: “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” Yeshua also instructs His followers to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us, so that we may be sons of our Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the rig...

Endure

Image
“And everyone will hate you because you are my followers. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.” — Mark 13:13 (NLT) Because Yeshua overcame, as believers and followers of Christ, we too shall overcome. Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised. For yet in a very little while, He who is coming will come, and will not delay. (Hebrews 10:35-37 NASB1995) Make a decision to be faithful to the end and you will be saved. We count those blessed who endured. You have heard of the endurance of Job and have seen the outcome of the Lord’s dealings, that the Lord is full of compassion and is merciful. (James 5:11 NASB1995) So, don’t grow weary. Patiently persevere.

Extravagant Love

Image
Consider the kind of extravagant love the Father has lavished on us—He calls us children of God! It’s true; we are His beloved children. And in the same way the world didn’t recognize Him, the world does not recognize us either. — 1 John 3:1 (VOICE) But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: (John 1:12 NKJV) Believe in Yahweh, believe also in Yeshua. (See John 14:1) In addition to believing, be imitators of God as dear children. (See Ephesians 5:1) And make Him your first love. Know that we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.  For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (See Romans 8:37-39 NKJV)

Feeling Forgotten?

Image
For in one place the Scriptures say, “What are mere mortals that you should think about them, or a son of man that you should care for him? Yet for a little while you made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor. — Hebrews 2:6-7 (NLT) Never feel forgotten by your heavenly Father. He is mindful of you. “How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me!” (Psalms 139:17-18 NLT) Psalms 139:3 (NASB1995) says, He is intimately acquainted with all your ways. And in Matthew 10:30 (NLT) Yeshua said: “…the very hairs on your head are all numbered.” “When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.” — Is...

Trust in the Light

Image
Jesus replied, “My light will shine for you just a little longer. Walk in the light while you can, so the darkness will not overtake you. Those who walk in the darkness cannot see where they are going. Put your trust in the light while there is still time; then you will become children of the light.” After saying these things, Jesus went away and was hidden from them. — John 12:35-36 (NLT) Put your trust in King Yeshua, not in man, the government, nor in material riches. In John‬ ‭8‬:‭12‬ ‭(TPT‬), Jesus said, “I am light to the world, and those who embrace me will experience life-giving light, and they will never walk in darkness.” May we live and walk in the Light. “To all the rich of this world, I command you not to be wrapped in thoughts of pride over your prosperity, or rely on your wealth, for your riches are unreliable and nothing compared to the living God. Trust instead in the one who lavishes upon us all good things, fulfilling our every need.” (1 Timothy 6:17 TPT)

Hang on to Every Word

Image
And He was teaching daily in the temple; but the chief priests and the scribes and the leading men among the people were trying to destroy Him, and they could not find anything that they might do, for all the people were hanging on to every word He said. — Luke 19:47-48 (NASB1995) May we hang on to every Word Yeshua spoke and also put it into practice in our daily lives. In Matthew 7:24-25 (NASB1995), Yeshua said: “Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock.” Be wise and build on the rock.

What Do You Desire?

Image
Whom have I in heaven but you? I desire you more than anything on earth. My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever. — Psalms 73:25-26 (NLT) It is good for us to draw near to God; Let us put our trust in the Lord GOD, and declare all of His works. (See Psalms 73:28 NKJV) As for God, His way is blameless; The word of Yahweh is tried; He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him. For who is God, but Yahweh? And who is a rock, except our God, the God who girds me with strength and makes my way blameless? (Psalms 18:30-32 LSB) May we desire more of His Presence above anything this world has to offer.  The LORD is righteous in everything he does; he is filled with kindness. The LORD is close to all who call on him, yes, to all who call on him in truth. He grants the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cries for help and rescues them. — Psalms 145:17-19 (NLT)

Seek to Serve

Image
“But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must be the slave of everyone else. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.” — Mark 10:43-45 (NLT) Yeshua told his disciples that the rulers in this world lord it over their people, and officials flaunt their authority over those under them. But, He says, it is to be different among His followers. (See Mark 10:42-43) Philippians 2:3-4 (NASB1995) says: Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. May we continually strive to serve others. We are blessed to be a blessing to others.

Shout Louder!

Image
“As Jesus approached Jericho, a blind beggar was sitting beside the road. When he heard the noise of a crowd going past, he asked what was happening. They told him that Jesus the Nazarene was going by. So he began shouting, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” “Be quiet!” the people in front yelled at him. But he only shouted louder, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” — Luke 18:35-39 (NLT) When Jesus heard the blind beggar, he stopped and ordered that the man be brought to him. As the man came near, Jesus asked him, “What do you want me to do for you?” “Lord,” he said, “I want to see!” And Jesus said, “All right, receive your sight! Your faith has healed you.” (See Luke 18:40-42) Never let what the crowd says influence your behavior toward Yeshua, our Lord and Savior. Nor let them stifle your belief in Him. Because the blind man continued to call upon Yeshua, Luke 18:43 says, instantly the man could see, and he followed Jesus, praising God. And all who saw it praised God, too.” Do...

Unite in Christ

Image
He ( Caiaphas ) did not say this on his own; as high priest at that time he was led to prophesy that Jesus would die for the entire nation. And not only for that nation, but to bring together and unite all the children of God scattered around the world. — John 11:51-52 (NLT) Believers all over the world are brought together, in the body of Christ. Some of us are Jews, some are Gentiles, some are slaves, and some are free. But we have all been baptized into one body by one Spirit, and we all share the same Spirit. (1 Corinthians 12:13 NLT) Let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another. (See Romans 14:19 NKJV) Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future. (Ephesians 4:2...

He is Good

Image
“For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD bestows grace and favor and honor; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.” — Psalms 84:11 (AMP) Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! Oh, fear the LORD, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him. (Psalms 34:8-9 NKJV) Yahweh is good and generous. His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness. (See 2 Peter 1:3) No matter what set of circumstances are before you today, believe that you will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. (See Psalms 27:13) Give thanks to Yahweh, for He is good; For His lovingkindness endures forever. (Psalms 118:29 LSB) His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations. (See Psalms 100:5 NKJV)  “For the Lord God is brighter than the brilliance of a sunrise! Wrapping himself around me like a shield, he is so generous with his gifts of grace and glory. Those who walk along...

Return Home

Image
“So he returned home to his father. And while he was still a long way off, his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him.” — Luke 15:20 (NLT) Yeshua told a parable of “the lost son”: This younger son packed all his belongings and moved to a distant land, and there he wasted all his money in wild living. About the time his money ran out, a great famine swept over the land, and he began to starve. The young man became so hungry that even the pods he was feeding the pigs looked good to him. But no one gave him anything. When he finally came to his senses, he decided to go home. (See Luke 15:13-18) Our heavenly Father is full of love and compassion and His arms are wide open to welcome back those who have strayed away from Him. If you have wandered away, let His love draw you back into fellowship with Him.

The Narrow Gate

Image
“Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able.” — Luke 13:24 (NKJV) “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. (Matthew 7:13-14 NKJV) “When once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open for us,’ and He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know you, where you are from,’ then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets.’ But He will say, ‘I tell you I do not know you, where you are from. Depart from Me, all you workers of iniquity.’” (Luke 13:25-27 NKJV) In the way of righteousness is life, and in its pathway there is no death. — Proverbs 12:28 (NKJV)

Perfect & Complete

Image
“I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will [continue to] perfect and complete it until the day of Christ Jesus [the time of His return].” — Philippians 1:6 (AMP) Yahweh is faithful to complete the good work He is doing in each believer. Know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. (See James 1:3-4 NASB1995) “Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault. All glory to him who alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and authority are his before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen.” (Jude 1:24-25 NLT)

“Who Sinned?”

Image
Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” — John 9:1-2 (NKJV) I think it’s the nature of the flesh that likes to direct blame onto others. Instead of looking at the past and placing blame, let us be future-minded and seek solutions. The disciples asked: “Who sinned?” The easier question to ask is “Who hasn't sinned?” Only the King of kings and the Lord of lords, our Savior, Yeshua. Hebrews 4:15 says, He has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.  Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him.” (John 9:3 NKJV) Take a moment to reflect on the answer Jesus gave His disciples. Maybe the wrongs we have suffered were allowed to happen so the works of God could be displayed in us and in our lives. Let us praise Yahweh for being with us in all of our trials, troubles and temptations an...

Believe & Live

Image
And He was saying to them, “You are from below, I am from above; you are of this world, I am not of this world. Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.” — John 8:23-24 (NASB1995) Once you were dead because of your disobedience and your many sins. You used to live in sin, just like the rest of the world, obeying the devil—the commander of the powers in the unseen world. He is the spirit at work in the hearts of those who refuse to obey God. (Ephesians 2:1-2 NLT) But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!) (Ephesians 2:4-5 NLT) Yeshua came that we may have life, and that we may have it more abundantly. (See John 10:10) Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in the Son has everlasting life; (See John 3:36 & 6:47) Believe and live...
