Know Him for Yourself

Image
Then they said to the woman, “Now we believe, not because of what you said, for we ourselves have heard Him and we know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world.” — John 4:42 (NKJV) In John 4:7, a woman of Samaria came to draw water when Jesus started a conversation with her. Little did she know it was a meeting that would change the trajectory of her life forever. After having a conversation with Jesus, the woman left her waterpot, went into the city, and said to the men, “Come, see a Man who told me all things that I ever did. Could this be the Christ?” Then they went out of the city and came to Him. (See John 4:28-30) And many of the Samaritans of that city believed in Him because of the word of the woman who testified, “He told me all that I ever did.” So when the Samaritans had come to Him, they urged Him to stay with them; and He stayed there two days. And many more believed because of His own word. (See John 4:39-41) We should not rely on what others tell us about...

Do Not Be Deceived

Image
“At the end of their rule, when their sin is at its height, a fierce king, a master of intrigue, will rise to power. He will become very strong, but not by his own power. He will cause a shocking amount of destruction and succeed in everything he does. He will destroy powerful leaders and devastate the holy people. He will be a master of deception and will become arrogant; he will destroy many without warning. He will even take on the Prince of princes in battle, but he will be broken, though not by human power. — Daniel 8:23-25 (NLT) Titus 1:10 (NASB1995) warns us that there are many rebellious men, empty talkers and deceivers. For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist. (2 John 1:7 NASB1995) Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. Know the truth, the Holy Scriptures. Fight the good fight, finish the course, and keep the faith. (See 2 Timothy 4:7) Indeed, all who desire to...

The Most High Rules

Image
“After this time had passed, I, Nebuchadnezzar, looked up to heaven. My sanity returned, and I praised and worshiped the Most High and honored the one who lives forever. His rule is everlasting, and his kingdom is eternal. All the people of the earth are nothing compared to him. He does as he pleases among the angels of heaven and among the people of the earth. No one can stop him or say to him, ‘What do you mean by doing these things?’ — Daniel 4:34-35 (NLT) In Daniel 4:28-30, King Nebuchadnezzar looked out across the city and said: “Look at this great city of Babylon! By my own mighty power, I have built this beautiful city as my royal residence to display my majestic splendor.” Because of his pride, “He was driven from human society. He was given the mind of a wild animal, and he lived among the wild donkeys. He ate grass like a cow, and he was drenched with the dew of heaven, until he learned that the Most High God rules over the kingdoms of the world and appoints anyone he desire...

He Delivers

Image
Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego replied to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to give you an answer concerning this matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the furnace of blazing fire; and He will deliver us out of your hand, O king. But even if He does not, let it be known to you, O king, that we are not going to serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.” — Daniel 3:16-18 (NASB1995) Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refused to serve the gods of king Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, nor did they worship the gold statue he set up.” (See Daniel 3:12 NLT) When faced with being thrown into the blazing furnace, they clung to their faith in Yahweh, knowing that He was able to save them. And even if He didn’t deliver them, they made it clear to the king, that they would never serve his gods or worship the gold statue. (See Daniel 3:18 NLT) When faced with our own fiery ordeals, let us be totally convinced and confident that our great God ...

Decide Today

Image
“Thousands upon thousands are waiting in the valley of decision. There the day of the LORD will soon arrive.” — Joel 3:14 (NLT)  The day of the LORD is near, the day when destruction comes from the Almighty. How terrible that day will be! (Joel 1:15 NLT) Make a decision today to follow Yahweh. “Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” (See 2 Corinthians 6:2 NKJV ) That is why the LORD says, “Turn to me now, while there is time. Give me your hearts. Come with fasting, weeping, and mourning. Don’t tear your clothing in your grief, but tear your hearts instead.” Return to the LORD your God, for he is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. He is eager to relent and not punish. (Joel 2:12-13 NLT) “And it shall come about that whoever calls on the name of the LORD will be saved [from the coming judgment]… (See Joel 2:32 AMP).

Made Right

Image
We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are. — Romans 3:22 (NLT)   This righteousness of God comes through faith in Jesus Christ for all those [Jew or Gentile] who believe [and trust in Him and acknowledge Him as God’s Son]. There is no distinction, since all have sinned and continually fall short of the glory of God, (Romans 3:22-23 AMP). I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. (Isaiah 61:10 NKJV) For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:21 NLT) Amen. And hallelu-YAH! Let all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; And let those who love Your salvation say continu...

Bless the LORD

Image
“ Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: ” — Psalms 103:1-2 (NKJV) May we always remember and be forever grateful for all the good things Yahweh does for us. Bless the LORD, Who pardons all our iniquities, Who heals all our diseases; Who redeems our lives from the pit, Who crowns us with lovingkindness and compassion; Who satisfies our years with good things, so that our youth is renewed like the eagle. (See Psalms 103:3-5 NASB1995) The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in mercy. (Psalms 103:8 NKJV) For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. (Psalms 103:11-12 NKJV)  “…the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, and His righteousness to children’s children, to such as keep His covenant, and t...

Be Renewed

Image
Since you have heard about Jesus and have learned the truth that comes from him, throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy. — Ephesians 4:21-24 (NLT) Ephesians 4:23 (AMP) says: “be continually renewed in the spirit of your mind [having a fresh, untarnished mental and spiritual attitude].” The process of being renewed is continual. May we daily present our bodies to God as a living and holy sacrifice. Instead of copying the behavior and customs of this world, let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. (See Romans 12:1-2) Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the ...

Always Pray

Image
One day Jesus told his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up. — Luke 18:1 (NLT) Jesus told a story about a widow who came to a judge repeatedly, saying, ‘Give me justice in this dispute with my enemy.’ The judge ignored her for a while, but finally he said to himself, ‘I don’t fear God or care about people, but this woman is driving me crazy. I’m going to see that she gets justice, because she is wearing me out with her constant requests!’” (See Luke 18:2-5 NLT) Then the Lord said, “Learn a lesson from this unjust judge. Even he rendered a just decision in the end. So don’t you think God will surely give justice to his chosen people who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will grant justice to them quickly! But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?” (Luke 18:6-8 NLT) “And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will...

The Only Way

Image
Jesus said to him, “I am the [only] Way [to God] and the [real] Truth and the [real] Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” — John 14:6 (AMP) In Matthew 16:13 (TLV) Yeshua asked His disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?” They answered, “Some say John the Immerser, others say Elijah, and still others say Jeremiah or one of the other prophets.” He said, “But who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” (Matthew 16:14-16) Who do you say He is? Your very life depends on your answer. He is Lord of lords and King of kings; (See Revelation 17:14 NKJV) He is the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End [the Eternal One].” (See Revelation 22:13 AMP) Matthew 1:23 (NKJV) says: “…they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.” John says of Him, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” (See John 1:29) May our hearts be open to receive Him and follo...

Commit Your Way

Image
Commit your way to the LORD, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. — Psalms 37:5-6 (NKJV) Commit your works to the LORD [submit and trust them to Him], and your plans will succeed [if you respond to His will and guidance]. (Proverbs 16:3 AMP) We must respond to God's will by following His guidance, if we want our plans to succeed. All the paths of the LORD are lovingkindness and truth to those who keep His covenant and His testimonies. (Psalms 25:10 NASB1995) He crowns the year with a bountiful harvest; even the hard pathways overflow with abundance. (See Psalms 65:11 NLT) “Show me the right path, O LORD; point out the road for me to follow.” — Psalms 25:4 (NLT)

A Very Present Help

Image
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea; Though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains quake at its swelling pride. Selah. — Psalms 46:1-3 (NASB1995) When we are in the midst of troubles, trials and temptations, Yahweh is with us. He never abandons us. Not only is He our constant Companion, He is always ready to help in times of trouble. He is also our strength, to bring us through. “Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces.” (Psalms 34:5 NLT) The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry. The face of the LORD is against those who do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. (Psalms 34:15-17 NKJV) The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, an...

Be Slow to Speak

Image
Understand this, my beloved brothers and sisters. Let everyone be quick to hear [be a careful, thoughtful listener], slow to speak [a speaker of carefully chosen words and], slow to anger [patient, reflective, forgiving]; — James 1:19 (AMP) Death and life are in the power of the tongue (see Proverbs 18:21), so let us choose our words carefully. “Reckless words are like the thrusts of a sword, cutting remarks meant to stab and to hurt. But the words of the wise soothe and heal.” (Proverbs 12:18 TPT) Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear. (Ephesians 4:29 NASB1995) “ Nothing is more appealing than speaking beautiful, life-giving words. For they release sweetness to our souls and inner healing to our spirits. ” —‭‭ Proverbs‬ ‭16‬:‭24‬ ‭(TPT‬‬)

Worship Yahweh

Image
And one called out to another and said, “Holy, Holy, Holy, is Yahweh of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory.” — Isaiah 61:3 (LSB) Ascribe to the LORD the glory due His name; Worship the LORD in the beauty and majesty of His holiness [as the creator and source of holiness]. (Psalms 29:2 AMP) For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His lovingkindness toward those who fear and worship Him [with awe-filled respect and deepest reverence]. (Psalms 103:11 AMP) Exalt the LORD our God and worship at His footstool; Holy is He. (Psalms 99:5 NASB1995) He is the only One we are to worship. We are to worship Him not only with our words, but also in our behavior, and with a genuine heart. In addition, we worship Him with our minds by having thoughts that honor and give Him glory. Yahweh sat enthroned over the flood; Indeed, Yahweh sits as King forever. Yahweh will give strength to His people; Yahweh will bless His people with peace. (Psalms 29:10-11 LSB) All the ends of the ...

Rejoicing in Hope

Image
constantly rejoicing in hope [because of our confidence in Christ], steadfast and patient in distress, devoted to prayer [continually seeking wisdom, guidance, and strength], — Romans 12:12 (AMP) Let us constantly rejoice in the hope we have in Christ. This hope [this confident assurance] we have as an anchor of the soul [it cannot slip and it cannot break down under whatever pressure bears upon it]—a safe and steadfast hope that enters within the veil [of the heavenly temple, that most Holy Place in which the very presence of God dwells], (Hebrews 6:19 AMP) Don't drift and have no doubt, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. (See James 1:6) Cling to your faith in Christ, and keep your conscience clear. For some people have deliberately violated their consciences; as a result, their faith has been shipwrecked. (1 Timothy 1:19 NLT) Continually seek God's wisdom and guidance and draw your strength from Him.

A Plan for Good

Image
And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose. — Romans 8:28 (AMP) When things do not go as you had planned, remember we are called according to His plan and purpose. Yahweh is deeply concerned about you and His plans for you are good. His plans are for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. (See Jeremiah 29:11 AMP) Only He knows the plans, and the appointed time for each event, and He reveals them to us step-by-step. The LORD says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.” (Psalms 32:8 NLT) Let us take each step by faith in our loving God and in His good plan for our lives. Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, for in You do I trust; Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to You. ...

Give Thanks

Image
in every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus. — 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (AMP) No matter what the circumstances may be… I will give thanks to the LORD according to His righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High. (Psalms 7:17 NASB1995) Just as the blessings of the Most High are continual, may we continually give thanks to Yahweh, with a grateful heart. Enter His gates with a song of thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, bless and praise His name. (Psalms 100:4 AMP)

The Light of Life

Image
Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.” — John 8:12 (NLT) As followers of Christ, we have the light that leads to life. …for you were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as children of Light (for the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth), trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord. (Ephesians 5:8-10 NASB1995) “You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.” (Matthew 5:14-16 NLT)

Seek After God

Image
“His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him—though he is not far from any one of us. For in him we live and move and exist. As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’” — Acts 17:27-28 (NLT) Instead of following the behavior and customs of the world, let us seek after God and follow His ways.  The Word instructs us to seek after God. It does not say to seek fame, fortune, a celebrity, or a sports team, etc. Our heavenly Father is the only One Who can fulfill the deep longing in our hearts. “Why do you spend money for what is not bread, and your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to the LORD, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in abundance.” (See Isaiah 55:2 NKJV)  The LORD has looked down from heaven upon the children of men to see if there are any who understand (act wisely), Who [truly] seek after God, [longing for His wisdom and guidance]. — Psalms 14:2 (AMP)

Remember God

Image
Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God! Now I am deeply discouraged, but I will remember you…  — Psalms 42:5-6a (NLT) We get anxious, fearful and discouraged when we forget about God, His greatness and His goodness. We do not have to be afraid or discouraged. Remember Yahweh. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go. (See Joshua 1:9 NLT) He is on your side and nothing is too difficult for Him. He is a shield about you, your glory, and the One who lifts your head. (See Psalms 3:3 NASB1995) Put your hope in God and continue to praise Him. …the LORD’s delight is in those who fear him, those who put their hope in his unfailing love. (Psalms 147:11 NLT) My victory and honor come from God alone. He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me. O my people, trust in him at all times. Pour out your heart to him, for God is our refuge.  Interlude — Psalms 62:7-8 (NLT)

Directed & Established

Image
The steps of a [good and righteous] man are directed and established by the LORD,
and He delights in his way [and blesses his path]. When he falls, he will not be hurled down, because the LORD is the One who holds his hand and sustains him. — Psalms 37:23-24 (AMP) As we faithfully follow the direction of Yahweh, He will establish our steps. Depart from evil and do good; And you will dwell [securely in the land] forever. For the LORD delights in justice and does not abandon His saints (faithful ones); They are preserved forever, but the descendants of the wicked will [in time] be cut off. The righteous will inherit the land and live in it forever. (Psalms 37:27-29 AMP) …the salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; He is our refuge and stronghold in the time of trouble. The LORD helps us and rescues us; He rescues the righteous from the wicked and saves us, because we take refuge in Him. (See Psalms 37:39-40 AMP)

Have Hope

Image
This I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope. The LORD’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.” — Lamentations 3:21-24 (NASB1995) In spite of the challenges that come, we can always have hope because the faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease. Great and beyond measure is His faithfulness. And He remains the same forever! His throne continues from generation to generation. (See Lamentations 5:19 NLT) Let us examine and probe our ways, and let us return to the LORD. We lift up our heart and hands toward God in heaven; (Lamentations 3:40-41 NASB1995) O taste and see that Yahweh is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! Oh, fear Yahweh, you His saints; For there is no want to those who fear Him. (Psalms 34:8 LSB) “Here’s what I’ve learned through it all: Don’t give up; don’t be impatient; be e...

Called, Chosen & Faithful

Image
“These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful.” — Revelation 17:14 (NASB1995) First Peter 2:9 (NASB1995) says we have been called out of darkness into His marvelous light. As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance, but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; (1 Peter 1:14-15) We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation. (See 1 Peter 2:9 NKJV) Ephesians 1:4 (NASB1995) says, God chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. If we are with Yeshua, the Lamb of God, we are the called and chosen. Let us also be faithful to the King of kings and our heavenly Father. May we persevere through the troubles, trials and temptations, knowing that after we have suffered for a little while, the God o...

He Formed Us

Image
“ You formed my innermost being, shaping my delicate inside and my intricate outside, and wove them all together in my mother’s womb. You even formed every bone in my body when you created me in the secret place; carefully, skillfully you shaped me from nothing to something. ” — Psalms 139:13, 15 (TPT) We are created in the image of God. (See Genesis 1:27) The One Who formed you in the womb of your mother knows everything there is to know about you. He knows our inside is delicate, easily broken or damaged. And our outside environment is intricate, very complicated or detailed. No need for pretense with Him. We cannot hide anything from Him, so be humble, open and honest with our heavenly Father. Even though He knows our weaknesses and the areas where we completely miss the mark, He also sees the best in us and wants the best for us. He has given to each person talents and gifts, which are to give glory to our Maker and His Kingdom. May we submit to His Holy Spirit, Who is at work in u...

Children of God

Image
For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!” The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God, — Romans 8:15-16 (NASB1995) We have not received a spirit of slavery, nor has God given us a spirit of fear. See what an incredible quality of love the Father has shown to us, that we would [be permitted to] be named and called and counted the children of God! And so we are! For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. (1 John 3:1 AMP) But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. (John 1:12-13 NASB1995) Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. (Ephesians 5:1 NKJV) Be kind and helpful to one another, tender-hearted [compassionate, understanding], forgiving on...

Bless the LORD

Image
Bless and affectionately praise the LORD, O my soul, and all that is [deep] within me, bless His holy name. Bless and affectionately praise the LORD, O my soul, and do not forget any of His benefits; Who forgives all your sins, Who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you [lavishly] with lovingkindness and tender mercy; — Psalms 103:1-4 (AMP) May we always remember the good things Yahweh has done for us, and continually give Him thanks. The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in compassion and lovingkindness. For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His lovingkindness toward those who fear and worship Him [with awe-filled respect and deepest reverence]. (Psalms 103:8, 11 AMP) Bless the LORD, all you works of His, in all places of His dominion; Bless and affectionately praise the LORD, O my soul! — Psalms 103:22 (AMP)

Overflow with Gratitude

Image
Know and fully recognize with gratitude that the LORD Himself is God; It is He who has made us, not we ourselves [and we are His]. We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with a song of thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, bless and praise His name. — Psalms 100:3-4 (AMP) God is good and all that He does is good. Every good and perfect comes from Him. May we receive them with a heart full of gratitude and a mouth that continually gives thanks. Colossians 2:6-7 (NASB1995) says, …as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude. Let us always be grateful that we have received Yeshua and we can walk and live in Him. We gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us]. (See Romans 8:37 AMP) Whatever we go through, He is with us and we are in it to win.

Live by Faith

Image
Though the fig tree does not blossom and there is no fruit on the vines, though the yield of the olive fails and the fields produce no food, though the flock is cut off from the fold and there are no cattle in the stalls, yet I will [choose to] rejoice in the LORD;
I will [choose to] shout in exultation in the [victorious] God of my salvation! — Habakkuk 3:17-18 (AMP) When you are down to nothing, know that Yahweh is up to something. When it seems that nothing is working, remember our great and mighty God has already worked everything out concerning you. His lovingkindness never fails. In the face of lack, keep in mind that we serve a God of abundance and overflow (more than enough). Habakkuk 2:4 (AMP) reminds us that the righteous will live by his faith [in the true God]. So no matter how circumstances may appear, believers can choose to rejoice in Yahweh and know that He is faithful to provide for His children. Our joy is not in the provision, but in the Provider.

The Only Way

Image
Jesus said to him, “I am the [only] Way [to God] and the [real] Truth and the [real] Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. — John 14:6 (AMP) So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly My disciples; and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:31-32 NASB) If we want to know real truth, we must follow Yeshua, and continue in His Word. The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. Yeshua came that we may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]. (See John 10:10 AMP)

Passionately Pursue Him

Image
Drink deeply of the pleasures of this God. Experience for yourself the joyous mercies he gives to all who turn to hide themselves in him. Worship in awe and wonder, all you who’ve been made holy! For all who fear him will feast with plenty. Even the strong and the wealthy grow weak and hungry, but those who passionately pursue the Lord will never lack any good thing.  — Psalms 34:8-10 (TPT) Passionately pursue Yahweh. He gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk blamelessly. (See Psalms 84:11) “Even when bad things happen to the good and godly ones, the Lord will save them and not let them be defeated by what they face.” (Psalms 34:19 TPT) “I’m energized every time I enter your heavenly sanctuary to seek more of your power and drink in more of your glory. I overflow with praise when I come before you, for the anointing of your presence satisfies me like nothing else. You are such a rich banquet of pleasure to my soul. With passion I pursue and cling ...

This is the Day

Image
This is the day which Yahweh has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it. — Psalms 118:24 (LSB) Oh come, let us sing for joy to Yahweh, let us make a loud shout to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving, let us make a loud shout to Him with songs of praise. For Yahweh is a great God and a great King above all gods, (Psalms 95:1-3 LSB) Come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before Yahweh our Maker. For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture and the sheep of His hand. Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts… (Psalms 95:6-8 LSB) Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning; For I trust in You; Cause me to know the way in which I should walk; For to You I lift up my soul. — Psalms 143:8 (LSB)

He Goes With You

Image
“Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble in dread before them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not fail you or abandon you.” — Deuteronomy 31:6 (AMP) Whatever challenges come your way, know that Yahweh, our Heavenly Father is with you. Others may leave you, but our great and mighty God is with you. He will never abandon you. In Isaiah 41:10 (AMP), He says: ‘Do not fear [anything], for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation].’  ‘Ah Lord Yahweh! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You… (See Jeremiah 32:17 LSB).

The Glory of God

Image
“The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known. They speak without a sound or word; their voice is never heard. Yet their message has gone throughout the earth, and their words to all the world…” — Psalms 19:1-4 (NLT) “O Yahweh, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth, Who displays Your splendor above the heavens! From the mouth of infants and nursing babies You have established strength because of Your adversaries, to make the enemy and the revengeful cease. When I see Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have established; What is man that You remember him, and the son of man that You care for him?” (Psalms 8:1-4 LSB) In all of His glory and splendor, our heavenly Father cares for you. “May the LORD bless you and protect you. May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you. May the LORD show you his favor and give you hi...

He is With You

Image
No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you. — Joshua 1:5 (NKJV) Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5 NKJV) And with God all things are possible. Whatever the set of circumstances that are before you, remember that Yahweh is with you . He is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen. (See Ephesians 3:20-21 AMP) Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, b...

Rejoice the Lord!

Image
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! — Philippians 4:4 (NASB1995) We can rejoice in the Lord because we know that the plans that He has for us are plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give us a future and a hope. (See Jeremiah 29:11 AMP) “So celebrate the goodness of God! He shows this kindness to everyone who is his. Go ahead—shout for joy, all you upright ones who want to please him!” (Psalms 32:11 TPT) And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. (See Romans 8:28 NASB1995) Be glad and give thanks to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (See 1 Corinthians 15:57) A joyful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit dries up the bones. — Proverbs 17:22 (NASB1995)

Count on the LORD

Image
I am counting on the LORD; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word. I long for the Lord more than sentries long for the dawn, yes, more than sentries long for the dawn. — Psalms 130:5-6 (NLT) No matter how circumstances may appear, we can always count on the LORD, our God. He is great, and there is no God besides Him. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV) Take care, brethren, that there not be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God. (Hebrews 3:12 NASB1995) May our hearts deeply long for more of Yahweh. O LORD of hosts, how blessed and greatly favored is the man who trusts in You [believing in You, relying on You, and committing himself to You with confident hope and expectation]. — Psalms 84:12 (AMP)

None Like Him

Image
There is none like You, O Yahweh; You are great, and great is Your name in might. Who would not fear You, O King of the nations? Indeed it is Your due! For among all the wise men of the nations and in all their kingdoms, there is none like You. — Jeremiah 10:6-7 (LSB) “…Yahweh is the true God; He is the living God and the everlasting King. At His wrath the earth quakes, and the nations cannot endure His indignation. It is He who made the earth by His power, Who established the world by His wisdom; And by His understanding He has stretched out the heavens.” (Jeremiah 10:10, 10:12 LSB) Thus says Yahweh, “Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind and makes flesh his strength, and whose heart turns away from Yahweh. (Jeremiah 17:5 LSB) Blessed is the man who trusts in Yahweh and whose trust is Yahweh. (Jeremiah 17:7 LSB) Set your heart to seek the one and only true God. Trust the living God in every situation. Nothing is too difficult for Him. Heal me, O Yahweh, and I will be healed; Save m...

Boast in Yahweh

Image
Thus says Yahweh, “Let not a wise man boast in his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast in his might; let not a rich man boast in his riches, but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am Yahweh who shows lovingkindness, justice, and righteousness on earth; for I delight in these things,” declares Yahweh. — Jeremiah 9:23-24 (LSB) Do not boast in worldly wealth, which is here today and gone tomorrow. Let no one boast in men. Psalms 118:8 (NKJV) says: “It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.” May we pursue a deeper walker walk with the LORD and understand that it is always better to follow His ways and His Word.  I will bless Yahweh at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul will make its boast in Yahweh; The humble will hear it and rejoice. O magnify Yahweh with me, and let us exalt His name together. (Psalms 34:1-3 LSB) In God we boast all day long, and praise Your name forever. Selah (Psalms ...

Travel the Right Path

Image
“Jeremiah, say to the people, ‘This is what the LORD says: “‘When people fall down, don’t they get up again? When they discover they’re on the wrong road, don’t they turn back? Then why do these people stay on their self-destructive path? Why do the people of Jerusalem refuse to turn back? They cling tightly to their lies and will not turn around. I listen to their conversations and don’t hear a word of truth. Is anyone sorry for doing wrong? Does anyone say, “What a terrible thing I have done”? No! All are running down the path of sin as swiftly as a horse galloping into battle!” — Jeremiah 8:4-6 (NLT) This is what the LORD says: “Stop at the crossroads and look around. Ask for the old, godly way, and walk in it. Travel its path, and you will find rest for your souls. But you reply, ‘No, that’s not the road we want!’” (Jeremiah 6:16 NLT) Yahweh will make known to you the path of life. (See Psalms 16:11a) May we have the wisdom to walk on it.  The path of life leads up...

He Sees You

Image
O LORD, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away. You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. You know what I am going to say even before I say it, LORD. You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head. — Psalms 139:1-5 (NLT) You can fool some of the people some of the time. But you “ain’t” fooling God at any time. Yahweh sees the real you, inside and out, with no filters. We do not have to pretend with Him. He sees into our very heart. Not only does He see you, but He knows you better than you know yourself. He saw who He created you to be before you became you! Before you ever seen the light of day, the number of days He planned for you were already recorded in His book.” (See Psalms 139:16 TPT) And He loves you with an everlasting love.

Return Home

Image
“The heavens are shocked at such a thing and shrink back in horror and dismay,” says the LORD. “For my people have done two evil things: They have abandoned me— the fountain of living water. And they have dug for themselves cracked cisterns that can hold no water at all!” — Jeremiah 2:12-13 (NLT) In Jeremiah 2:11 (NLT) Yahweh says: “… my people have exchanged their glorious God for worthless idols!” In Jeremiah 2:32, He says, “for years on end my people have forgotten me.” “But the LORD is the only true God. He is the living God and the everlasting King! The whole earth trembles at his anger. The nations cannot stand up to his wrath. Say this to those who worship other gods: “Your so-called gods, who did not make the heavens and earth, will vanish from the earth and from under the heavens.” But the LORD made the earth by his power, and he preserves it by his wisdom. With his own understanding he stretched out the heavens.” (Jeremiah 10:10-12 NLT) May we never be like the children of I...

He Calms Our Fears

Image
“For the LORD your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.” — Zephaniah 3:17 (NLT) …God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV) And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the day of judgment, but we can face him with confidence because we live like Jesus here in this world. Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love. (1 John 4:17-18 NLT) Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; ‘For YAH, the LORD, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation.’ Therefore with joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.” — Isaiah 12:2-3 (NKJV)

Love Never Fails

Image
“Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many. Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.” — Matthew 24:11-13 (NASB1995) In a discussion with His disciples, about the signs of the times and the end of the age, Jesus says the love of many will grow cold. In Revelation 2:4 (AMP), to the church in Ephesus, He says: “…I have this [charge] against you, that you have left your first love [you have lost the depth of love that you first had for Me].” May we never abandon the love we have for our Yeshua, the King of kings and the Lord of lords. If our love for our Savior is a burning flame that never goes out, our love for others will never grow cold. If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen. (1 John 4:20 NASB1995) First Peter 4:8 (AMP) says: Above all, have fervent and unfailing ...

Keep Coming Closer

Image
The LORD is good, a strength and stronghold in the day of trouble; He knows [He recognizes, cares for, and understands fully] those who take refuge and trust in Him. — Nahum 1:7 (AMP) In Isaiah 29:13 (NKJV), the Lord said, “…these people draw near with their mouths and honor Me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from Me…” Yahweh is good and it is good for us to draw near to Him, with sincere hearts. Let us make the Lord GOD our refuge and place our trust in Him alone. Be sure to tell of all His wonderful works. (See Psalms 73:28 AMP) “Move your heart closer and closer to God, and he will come even closer to you. But make sure you cleanse your life, you sinners, and keep your heart pure and stop doubting.” (James (Jacob) 4:8 TPT) “But I’ll keep coming closer and closer to you, Lord Yahweh, for your name is good to me. I’ll keep telling the world of your awesome works, my faithful and glorious God!” — Psalms 73:28 (TPT)

Be Strong & Courageous

Image
“Be strong and courageous, do not fear or be dismayed because of the king of Assyria nor because of all the horde that is with him; for the one with us is greater than the one with him. With him is only an arm of flesh, but with us is the LORD our God to help us and to fight our battles.” And the people relied on the words of Hezekiah king of Judah. — 2 Chronicles 32:8 (NASB1995) Fear not! Be strong and courageous when the enemy comes against you. Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you. Our adversary, the devil, continually prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. (See 1 Peter 5:8) Today, we too have Yahweh on our side, to help us. And He has already provided victory for us through His Son, Yeshua, the Messiah, our mighty Saviour! Despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. (See Romans 8:37 NLT) Amen.

Release It

Image
casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully]. — 1 Peter 5:7 (AMP) Proverbs 12:25 (ESV) says: anxiety in a man's heart weighs him down. Why be heavily burdened with the cares of this world? Pour all your worries and concerns out to our heavenly Father in prayer. He is more than able to handle everything that concerns you. Abba Father knows exactly what we need and when we need it. “I am convinced that my God will fully satisfy every need you have, for I have seen the abundant riches of glory revealed to me through Jesus Christ!” (Philippians 4:19 TPT) Be anxious for nothing. Yahweh cares for you affectionately and He is faithful to provide all that you need. Cast your burden on the LORD [release it] and He will sustain and uphold you;
He will never allow the righteous to be shaken (slip, fall, fail). (Psalms 55:22 AMP) The LORD will ...

Open Arms

Image
The LORD says, “I was ready to respond, but no one asked for help. I was ready to be found, but no one was looking for me. I said, ‘Here I am, here I am!’ to a nation that did not call on my name. All day long I opened my arms to a rebellious people. But they follow their own evil paths and their own crooked schemes.” — Isaiah 65:1-2 (NLT) Yahweh is always ready to respond. He never sleeps, nor slumbers. His arms are open wide to welcome the lost into His family and into the glorious Kingdom of God. He draws us to Himself with lovingkindness. When you call on Him, He will answer. When you seek Him with all of your heart, He will be found by you. Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. (See 2 Corinthians 6:2) Ask for His help, today. “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who...

Come, Listen & Eat

Image
“Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; And you who have no money come, buy grain and eat. Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost [simply accept it as a gift from God]. “Why do you spend money for that which is not bread, and your earnings for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight in abundance. — Isaiah 55:1-2 (AMP) In Isaiah 55:3 (TPT) Yahweh says: “Pay attention and come closer to me, and hear, that your total being may flourish. I will enter into an everlasting covenant with you, and I will show you the same faithful love that I showed David.” The invitation to come is to everyone who thirsts. Money is not a requirement to come. Yahweh gives freely. He opens His hand and satisfies the desire of every living thing. The LORD is righteous in all His ways and kind in all His deeds. (See Psalms 145:16-17 NASB1995) Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! (Psalms 34:8 NLT) Co...

Be Determined

Image
“Because the Sovereign LORD helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore, I have set my face like a stone, determined to do his will. And I know that I will not be put to shame.” — Isaiah 50:7 (NLT) “Who among you fears the LORD and obeys his servant? If you are walking in darkness, without a ray of light, trust in the LORD and rely on your God.” (Isaiah 50:10 NLT) Those who trust in Him will never be put to shame. (See Isaiah 49:23 NLT) Be determined to do God's will. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are His ways higher than our ways and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. (See Isaiah 55:9)  “No weapon that is formed against you will succeed; And every tongue that rises against you in judgment you will condemn. This [peace, righteousness, security, and triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from Me,” says the LORD. (Isaiah 54:17 AMP)

He Will Be With You

Image
“When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.” — Isaiah 43:2 (NLT)   Even though you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, fear no evil because Yahweh is with you. (See Psalms 23:4) In His mighty Presence is His great power. He is able to bring us through the flood and the fiery trials. He is able to turn our darkness into light and make the crooked places straight. He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say: “The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” (See Hebrews 13:5-6 NKJV) “Unless the LORD had helped me, I would soon have settled in the silence of the grave. I cried out, “I am slipping!” but your unfailing love, O LORD, supported me.” (Psalms 94:17-18 NLT)  “Whenever my busy thoughts were out of control, the soothing comfort of...
