Love Never Fails
“Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many. Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.” —Matthew 24:11-13 (NASB1995)
In a discussion with His disciples, about the signs of the times and the end of the age, Jesus says the love of many will grow cold. In Revelation 2:4 (AMP), to the church in Ephesus, He says: “…I have this [charge] against you, that you have left your first love [you have lost the depth of love that you first had for Me].” May we never abandon the love we have for our Yeshua, the King of kings and the Lord of lords. If our love for our Savior is a burning flame that never goes out, our love for others will never grow cold. If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen. (1 John 4:20 NASB1995)
First Peter 4:8 (AMP) says: Above all, have fervent and unfailing love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins [it overlooks unkindness and unselfishly seeks the best for others]. First Corinthians 13:5 says love does not take into account a wrong suffered. May we overlook the unkind deeds of others and be like our heavenly Father who loves us unconditionally. His love never fails.
