Fear Not

He will not fear bad news; His heart is steadfast, trusting [confidently relying on and believing] in the LORD. —Psalms 112:7 (AMP)

Praise the LORD! How blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who greatly delights in His commandments. Light arises in the darkness for the upright; He is gracious and compassionate and righteous. (Psalms 112:1,4 NASB1995) The righteous need not fear a bad report. In Isaiah 41:10 (AMP), the LORD says: ‘Do not fear [anything], for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation].’ Nothing that comes our way is too difficult for our great God to handle.

“Seek and deeply long for the LORD and His strength [His power, His might]; Seek and deeply long for His face and His presence continually.” —Psalms 105:4 (AMP)

For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the Law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach statutes and ordinances in Israel. — Ezra 7:10 (NKJV) May we prepare our hearts and set our minds to diligently read and study the Word of God. Then, apply it to our daily lives by actually doing what it says. Great peace have those who love the law of the LORD, and nothing causes them to stumble. (See Psalms 119:165 NKJV) As pressure and stress bear down on you, find joy in His commands. (See Psalms 119:143 NLT) Psalms 78:8 (NKJV) says, its a stubborn and rebellious generation, that did not set its heart aright, and whose spirit was not faithful to God. Blessed and favored by God are those who keep His testimonies, and who [consistently] seek Him and long for Him with all their heart.
