He Shows Us The Way

Who is the man who fears the LORD [with awe-inspired reverence and worships Him with submissive wonder]? He will teach him [through His word] in the way he should choose. —Psalms 25:12 (AMP)

Psalms 25:1 (NLT) says: “O LORD, I give my life to you.” If we want to know the way we should go, it starts by making a decision to devote our lives to Yahweh. We need to be about fulfilling His plan and purpose for our lives, instead of trying to push our own agenda. His ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. (See Isaiah 55:9) Let us learn His ways, which lead to life. The LORD is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray. He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them his way. (Psalms 25:8-9 NLT) If we humble our hearts and open our minds to Yahweh and His Word, we will learn His ways and follow wherever He leads us because we trust Him with our very lives.

Show me the right path, O LORD; point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you. —Psalms 25:4-5 (NLT)
