Stay Alert!

“When the devil had finished every temptation, he left Him until an opportune time.” —Luke 4:13 (NASB1995)


Remember, we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. (See Ephesians 6:12) Our adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. He is always looking for an opportune time to steal, to kill, and to destroy. Stay alert!  (See 1 Peter 5:8 & John 10:10)

When confronted with the lies of the enemy, follow the example of King Yeshua in Luke 4:4, 4:8 & 4:12, and speak what is written in the Holy Scriptures.

Don't Drift

“So we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it.” — Hebrews 2:1 (NLT) Don’t drift away from the truth, God’s Word. Patient Endurance

“ So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised. ” — Hebrews 10:35-36 (NLT) Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. (Hebrews 10:23) Hebrews 10:37-38 (NLT)  says: “For in just a little while, the Coming One will come and not delay. And my righteous ones will live by faith. But I will take no pleasure in anyone who turns away.” But we are not like those who turn away from God to their own destruction.
