The Lion of Judah

Then I began to weep greatly because no one was found worthy to open the book or to look into it; and one of the elders said to me, “Stop weeping; behold, the Lion that is from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome so as to open the book and its seven seals.” —Revelation 5:4-5 (NASB1995)

Yeshua said: “These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33 NASB1995) Because He overcame, His followers shall also overcome. In all of our struggles, challenges and troubles, believers are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us]. (See Romans 8:37 AMP) May the righteous arise and be bold as a lion. (See Proverbs 28:1)

Look to the LORD

I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved;
 He who keeps you will not slumber. — Psalm 121:1-3 (NKJV) Look to the LORD. Our help comes from Yahweh, and He is with us each moment of the day. He does not sleep, nor take vacations. When you call upon Him, He will answer. I waited patiently for the LORD; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps. A Gift from God

This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him. — 2 Corinthians 5:17-18 (NLT) What God has given us in Christ is the most perfect gift of all. For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. (2 Corinthians 5:19 NLT)  Thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ.
