How Much Longer?

Then Elijah stood in front of them and said, “How much longer will you waver, hobbling between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow him! But if Baal is God, then follow him!” But the people were completely silent. —1 Kings 18:21 (NLT)

Don’t be one of the, “Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of Yahweh is near in the valley of decision.” (See Joel 3:14 LSB) James 1:6 (NKJV) says, he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. We should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men… (See Ephesians 4:14) Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve. Set before you is life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; (See Deuteronomy 30:19)

And let us not stay silent, but be like the people who saw Yahweh consume the burnt offering, in 1 Kings 18:38-39. They fell on their faces and said, “Yahweh, He is God; Yahweh, He is God.” Let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His holy name.

(See Psalms 119:143 NLT) Psalms 78:8 (NKJV) says, its a stubborn and rebellious generation, that did not set its heart aright, and whose spirit was not faithful to God. Blessed and favored by God are those who keep His testimonies, and who [consistently] seek Him and long for Him with all their heart. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” Our joy is not to be based on the fluctuating circumstances of our lives. We experience fullness of joy in the Presence of Yahweh and He is always with us. No matter what season of life you are going through, have continual and contagious joy. Let your joy overflow and spill out onto those around you.
