Call on His Name

Image
And God said to Moses, “I am Yahweh—‘the LORD.’ I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob as El-Shaddai—‘God Almighty’—but I did not reveal my name, Yahweh, to them.” — Exodus 6:2-3 (NLT) He who made the Pleiades and Orion and overturns the shadow of death into morning, Who also darkens day into night, Who calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out on the surface of the earth, Yahweh is His name. (Amos 5:8 LSB) The One who builds His upper chambers in the heavens and has founded His vaulted dome over the earth; The One who calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out on the face of the earth; Yahweh is His name.  (Amos 9:6 LSB) Exalt Yahweh our God and worship at the footstool of His feet; Holy is He. Moses and Aaron were among His priests, and Samuel was among those who called on His name; They would call upon Yahweh and He would answer them. (Psalms 99:5-6 LSB) Oh give thanks to Yahweh, call upon His name; Make known His acts among the peoples. (1 Chronicles 16:...

He Sees & Hears

Image
And Yahweh said, “I have surely seen the affliction of My people who are in Egypt, and I have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sufferings.” — Exodus 3:7 (LSB) God spoke these words to Moses when the Israelites were enslaved. However, when you are in the midst of hardships and difficulties, know that our heavenly Father still sees the affliction of His people today. He knows every heartache and sees every tear that rolls down your face. If you call upon Him, He hears. Psalms 18:6 (LSB) says: In my distress I called upon Yahweh, and cried to my God for help; He heard my voice out of His temple, and my cry for help before Him came into His ears. Not only does He hear the righteous when they cry for help, He also delivers them out of all their troubles. (See Psalms 34:17) There is no obstacle too hard for our great God to handle. He is Jehovah-Nissi, the LORD our Banner of Victory. Thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ. (See 2 Corinthian...

Valley of Decision

Image
Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of Yahweh is near in the valley of decision. — Joel 3:14 (LSB) Each person must decide for themselves. Yahweh has set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants, by loving the LORD your God, by obeying His voice, and by holding fast to Him; for this is your life and the length of your days… (See Deuteronomy 30:19-20 NASB1995) For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him, for “Whoever calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.” (Romans 10:12-13 LSB) May we not be of those who shrink back to destruction, but of those who have faith to the preserving of the soul. (See Hebrews 10:39) Press on toward the upward call of God in Messiah Yeshua.  Yahweh is righteous in all His ways and holy in all His works. Yahweh is near to all who call upon Him, to all who ca...

Our Provider & Protector

Image
“Meanwhile, the people of Israel settled in the region of Goshen in Egypt. There they acquired property, and they were fruitful, and their population grew rapidly.” — Genesis 47:27 (NLT) What an amazing and faithful God! Yahweh caused His people to multiply and be fruitful in the midst of a severe famine. After the Egyptians ran out of money to buy food, they exchanged their livestock and cattle. Then, they sold their land because the famine was so severe. Eventually they became Pharaoh’s servants. (See Genesis 47:14-25) At the same time, God caused His people to prosper in Goshen. Yahweh shows Himself faithful to the word He spoke to Jacob in Genesis 46:3 (NLT). Before Jacob arrived in Egypt, God said to Jacob: “I am God, the God of your father,” the voice said. “Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for there I will make your family into a great nation.” May we not fix our eyes on external circumstances, but always look to our great and awesome God. He is our Source and His supply i...

He is Good & Faithful

Image
Joseph was still in his palace when Judah and his brothers arrived, and they fell to the ground before him. — Genesis 44:14 (NLT) Joseph was in “his” palace. Only a great and mighty God can take someone from a pit, to a prison, and then to a palace. Hallelujah! God sent him ahead of his family to preserve their lives. (See Genesis 45:5) Joseph was in a position to give his father and brothers the very best land in Egypt. (See Genesis 45:18) Don’t despair when others do you wrong. For the LORD knows the plans He has for you. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. (See Jeremiah 29:11 NLT) He causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. (See Romans 8:28 NLT) Our great God is a God of restoration. He is able to restore what the enemy has stolen, and give you twice as much, like He did with Job. (See Job 42:10) He is able to turn your mourning into joy and make you rejoice afte...

He is The One

Image
Sing to Yahweh with thanksgiving; Sing praises to our God on the lyre. He is the One who covers the heavens with clouds, the One who provides rain for the earth, the One who makes grass to sprout on the mountains, who gives to the animal its food, and to the young ravens which call out. — Psalms 147:7-9 (NASB1995) Worrying does not do any good; who here can claim to add even an hour to his life by worrying? Nor should you worry about clothes. Consider the lilies of the field and how they grow. They do not work or weave or sew, and yet their garments are stunning. (Matthew 6:27-28 VOICE) But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith! (Matthew 6:30 LSB) Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Yeshua. (See John 14:1) The eyes of all look to You, and You give them their food in due time. You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thin...

He is With You

Image
The LORD was with Joseph, and he [even though a slave] became a successful and prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master, the Egyptian. — Genesis 39:2 (AMP) When Joseph was taken to Egypt by the Ishmaelite traders, he was purchased by Potiphar, an Egyptian officer. He realized that the LORD was with Joseph, giving him success in everything he did. So He put him in charge of his entire household and everything he owned. Potiphar’s wife began to look at him lustfully. She kept putting pressure on Joseph day after day, but he refused to sleep with her. Eventually, she accused him of attempting to rape her and Joseph was thrown in prison. (See Genesis 39:1-4, 7, 10, 14, 19-20) “But the LORD was with Joseph in the prison and showed him his faithful love. And the LORD made Joseph a favorite with the prison warden.” (Genesis 39:21 NLT) “The warden had no more worries, because Joseph took care of everything. The LORD was with him and caused everything he did to succeed.” (Genesis 3...

More Than Enough

Image
Then God said, “I am El-Shaddai—‘God Almighty.’ Be fruitful and multiply. You will become a great nation, even many nations. Kings will be among your descendants! — Genesis 35:11 (NLT) Yahweh is God Almighty (Hebrew: El Shaddai). He is all-sufficient, all-bountiful, and all-powerful, the source of all our blessings. He is a God of abundance. In Genesis 36:6-7, Esau took his entire household, along with his livestock and cattle—all the wealth he had acquired in the land of Canaan—and moved away from his brother, Jacob. There was not enough land to support them both because of all the livestock and possessions they had acquired. God not only blessed Jacob, but Esau as well. El Shaddai is the One who takes care of us. Nothing is too difficult for Him to handle. Lord, You have been our dwelling place [our refuge, our sanctuary, our stability] in all generations. Before the mountains were born or before You had given birth to the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, Y...

Pray At All Times

Image
Then Jacob prayed, “Yahweh, God of my father Abraham and God of my father Isaac, you said to me, ‘Return to your country and to your family, and I will make you prosper.’ “I am so unworthy of all the loving-kindness and faithfulness that you have showered upon me, your servant. When I crossed this river Jordan years ago, all I had to my name was a staff in my hand, and now I have increased to become two camps!” — Genesis 32:9-10 (TPT) Jacob was gripped with fear to the point of panic, when his messengers told him his brother Esau was coming to meet him with 400 men. (See Genesis 32:6-7 TPT) However, he knew to humble himself and turn to God in prayer. At all times we ought to pray and not lose heart. (See Luke 18:1) God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalms 46:1 NASB1995) Jacob first reminded God of the words He had spoken to him. When we stand on the Word of God, we are standing on solid ground because God watches over His word to perform it (See Jeremia...

Our Burden Bearer

Image
Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden, the God who is our salvation. Selah. — Psalms 68:19 (LSB) In 2 Corinthians 1:8-9, the apostle Paul says, they were burdened excessively, beyond their strength, so that they despaired even to live, but he says they learned not to trust in themselves, but in God who raises the dead. Are you weighed down with heavy burdens or overwhelmed by troubles? Cast your burden upon Yahweh and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken. (Psalms 55:22 LSB) We can trust Him in any and all situations and circumstances. The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. — Psalms 34:17-18 (LSB)

Are You Aware?

Image
Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the LORD is in this place, and I wasn’t even aware of it!” — Genesis 28:16 (NLT) As Jacob journeyed to his uncle Laban’s place, he reached a certain place and spent the night there because the sun had set. Then he had a dream, and behold, a ladder stood on the earth with its top touching heaven; and behold, the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. And behold, Yahweh stood above it and said, “I am Yahweh, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie, I will give it to you and to your seed.” (See Genesis 28:10-13 LSB) Among the promises Yahweh made to Jacob in Genesis 14-15, He promised to be with Jacob, and to keep him. Today, wherever you are on your journey, know that Yahweh is with you. For the ways of a man are before the eyes of Yahweh, and He watches all his tracks. (Proverbs 5:21 LSB) May you be aware of His Presence and follow His guidance. And He will protect you. The Lord is faith...

We Overcome

Image
These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful.” — Revelation 17:14 (NASB1995) …God highly exalted Him and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Yeshua every knee should bow, in heaven and on the earth and under the earth, and every tongue profess that Yeshua the Messiah is Lord— to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:9-11 TLV) Little children (believers, dear ones), you are of God and you belong to Him and have [already] overcome them [the agents of the antichrist]; because He who is in you is greater than he (Satan) who is in the world [of sinful mankind]. (1 John 4:4 AMP) We are a chosen people and have been called out of darkness and into His marvelous light (See 1 Peter 2:9) Let us be faithful to our Redeemer.  “Behold, I am coming soon, and My reward is with Me, to pay back each one according to his deeds. ...

He Provides

Image
And Abraham called the name of that place Yahweh Will Provide, as it is said this day, “In the mount of Yahweh it will be provided.” — Genesis 22:14 (LSB) Yahweh-Yireh is the LORD, our Provider. Our heavenly Father knows what you need before you ask Him. (See Matthew 6:8) …the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly. (Psalms 84:11 NASB1995) Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’ For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. (Matthew 6:31-33 NASB1995)

Call Upon His Name

Image
And Abraham planted a tamarisk tree at Beersheba, and there he called upon the name of Yahweh, the Everlasting God. — Genesis 21:33 (LSB) In Genesis 21:22 (NLT), Abimelech said to Abraham, “God is obviously with you, helping you in everything you do.” When believers continually walk with God and wholeheartedly call upon His name, it is obvious to even those who do not believe that Yahweh is with them. May we worship El Olam, the Everlasting God and call upon His name. But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6 NKJV) When you call expect an answer, and trust that He is able and willing to help in time of need. God’s blessings follow you and await you at every turn: when you don’t follow the advice of those who delight in wicked schemes, when you avoid sin’s highway, when judgment and sarcasm beckon you, but you refuse. (Psalms 1:1 VOICE) For ever since t...

God Who Sees

Image
Then she called the name of the LORD who spoke to her, “You are God Who Sees”; for she said, “Have I not even here [in the wilderness] remained alive after seeing Him [who sees me with understanding and compassion]?” — Genesis 16:13 (AMP) The Angel of the LORD found Hagar, Sarai’s maid, by a spring of water in the wilderness. She had run away because of the harsh treatment she was receiving from Sarai. He instructed her to go back and submit to her authority. Then the Angel of the LORD said to her, “I will multiply your descendants exceedingly, so that they shall not be counted for multitude.” He also told her to name the son she was carrying Ishmael, because the LORD has heard her affliction. (See Genesis 16:7-11). If you are going through challenging times, know that Yahweh hears your affliction and suffering. And He is El Roi, the God Who Sees. He sees you with understanding and compassion. Whether you are in the wilderness or a fiery furnace, He is with you. Continue to persevere t...

Fix Your Hope

Image
Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy. — 1 Timothy 6:17 (NASB1995) Who or what is your hope fixed upon? Is it material wealth, the government, a particular person, your physical appearance, or your possessions? Rich or poor, may we all center our hope on the living God, Who has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness. (See 2 Peter 1:3) He is the God of more than enough, and He is our Source. Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. (James 1:17 LSB) How blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in Yahweh his God, Who made heaven and earth, the sea and all that is in them; Who keeps truth forever; (Psalms 146:5-6 LSB) Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will prais...

His Purpose Prevails

Image
Then Job answered Yahweh and said, “I know that You can do all things, And that no purpose of Yours can be thwarted.” — Job 42:1-2 (LSB) In Daniel 5:18—21 (NKJV), Daniel said to king Belshazzar, “O king, the Most High God gave Nebuchadnezzar your father a kingdom and majesty, glory and honor. And because of the majesty that He gave him, all peoples, nations, and languages trembled and feared before him. ...But when his heart was lifted up, and his spirit was hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him. Then he was driven from the sons of men, his heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild donkeys. They fed him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till he knew that the Most High God rules in the kingdom of men, and appoints over it whomever He chooses.” (See Daniel 5:18—21 NKJV) Know that our great God rules. Instead of being puffed up with pride, keep a humble heart before Yahweh...

He Speaks

Image
Then Yahweh answered Job out of the whirlwind and said, — Job 38:1 (LSB) When the storms of life come, continue to trust the God Most High and listen intently for His voice. Your ears will hear sweet words behind you: “Go this way. There is your path; this is how you should go” whenever you must decide whether to turn to the right or the left. (Isaiah 30:21 VOICE) In 1 Kings 19:11-12 (NKJV), the LORD instructed Elijah to, “Go out, and stand on the mountain before the LORD.” And behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake; and after the earthquake a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice. In 1 Kings 19:15-16, the LORD gave Elijah directions on where to go and what to do when he arrived. “Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the re...

He Hears AND He Cares

Image
“But it is wrong to say God doesn’t listen, to say the Almighty isn’t concerned.” — Job 35:13 (NLT) In the midst of affliction and adversity, it may seem like God has abandoned you, or that your cries for help are falling on deaf ears. However, Psalms 34:15 (LSB) says: The eyes of Yahweh are toward the righteous and His ears are open to their cry for help. You can be assured that our Heavenly Father is always listening to the pleas of His children, and He will answer. In addition, 1 Peter 5:7 (AMP) says to cast all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully].  From the end of the earth I will cry to You, When my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. — Psalms 61:2 (NKJV)

No Partiality

Image
Could God govern if he hated justice? Are you going to condemn the almighty judge? For he says to kings, ‘You are wicked,’ and to nobles, ‘You are unjust.’ He doesn’t care how great a person may be, and he pays no more attention to the rich than to the poor. He made them all. — Job 34:17-19 (NLT) …“I most certainly understand now that God is not one to show partiality, but in every nation the man who fears Him and does what is right is welcome to Him.” (See Acts 10:34-35 NASB1995) The Lord is not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. (See 2 Peter 3:9 NASB1995) God shows personal favoritism to no man. (See Galatians 2:6 NKJV) If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9 NASB1995) As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. (Psalms 103:12 NASB1995) He redeems your life from destruction, and crowns you with lovingkindness and tender m...

He's Mindful of Us

Image
When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained, what is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him? — Psalms 8:3-4 (NKJV) O Yahweh, You have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You understand my thought from afar. You scrutinize my path and my lying down, and are intimately acquainted with all my ways. How precious are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would outnumber the sand. When I awake, I am still with You. (Psalms 139:1-3, 17-18 LSB) Nothing we do or think is hidden from Yahweh. …even the very hairs of your head are all numbered [for the Father is sovereign and has complete knowledge]. (Matthew 10:30 AMP) God is aware of all our ways, and yet He still loves us. Consider the kind of extravagant love the Father has lavished on us—He calls us children of God! It’s true; we are His beloved children. (See 1 John 3:1...

Long for the LORD

Image
O True God, You are my God, the One whom I trust. I seek You with every fiber of my being. In this dry and weary land with no water in sight, my soul is dry and longs for You. My body aches for You, for Your presence. — Psalms 63:1 (VOICE) Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips will praise You. So I will bless You as long as I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name. (Psalms 63:3-4 NASB1995) My soul overflows with satisfaction, as when I feast on foods rich in marrow and fat; with excitement in my heart and joy on my lips, I offer You praise. You have been my constant helper; therefore, I sing for joy under the protection of Your wings. My soul clings to You; Your right hand reaches down and holds me up. (Psalms 63:5, 7-8 VOICE) The eyes of all look expectantly to You, and You give them their food in due season. You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing. (Psalms 145:15-16 NKJV) You crown the year with Your goodness, and Your paths drip with ab...

Carefully Follow

Image
“My feet have carefully followed His steps; I have kept His ways and not turned aside. I have not departed from the commandment of His lips; I have kept the words of His mouth more than my necessary food.” — Job 23:11-12 (AMP) Treasure the Word of God in your heart so you may not sin against Him. (See Psalms 119:11) What is in your heart, will come out of your mouth. Joshua 1:8 (NKJV) says: This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Stay on the path Yahweh has before you. He will make known to you the path of life. His word is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path. (See Psalms 16:11 & 119:105 NASB1995) The path of life leads upward for the wise that he may keep away from Sheol below. (Proverbs 15:24 NASB1995) So you will walk in the way of good men and keep to the paths of t...

My Redeemer Lives!

Image
Besides, I know my Redeemer lives, and in the end He will rise and take His stand on the earth. And though my skin has been stripped off, still, in my flesh, I will see God. I, myself, will see Him: not some stranger, but actually me, with these eyes. Toward this end, my deepest longings pine away within my chest. — Job 19:25-27 (VOICE) In spite of all the loss, pain and suffering that Job experienced in his life on earth, he still had faith to believe. First, he knew that his Redeemer was alive. Second, he believed that God will stand on the earth, in the end. And third, he was certain he would see God with his own eyes. Job called God his Redeemer. He had a personal relationship with Yahweh. We too need to have a personal one-on-one relationship with Yahweh, through His Son, Yeshua, the Messiah. No one comes to the Father but through Him. (See John 14:6) Don’t just be familiar with Him, through what your parents or your pastor says about Him. In Psalms 46:10 (NKJV) Yahweh says: “Be...

Let There Be Light

Image
For God, who said, “Let there be light in the darkness,” has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ. We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves. — 2 Corinthians 4:6-7 (NLT) God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. (See 1 John 1:5) May we be open vessels unto Yahweh, that His light may shine through us, and illuminate the darkness in us and around us. Let us open our minds and renew them with the Word of God, that we may be transformed from the inside out. (See Romans 12:2) Let us clear out the clutter that our hearts may be open to receive His love and His peace  and let it flow to those around us.  Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of ...

In His Care

Image
“Your hands fashioned and made me altogether, and would You destroy me? Remember now, that You have made me as clay; And would You turn me into dust again? Did You not pour me out like milk and curdle me like cheese; Clothe me with skin and flesh, and knit me together with bones and sinews? You have granted me life and lovingkindness; And Your care has preserved my spirit.” — Job 10:8-12 (NASB1995) When Yahweh allows bad things to happen to us, we may have the distorted perception that He is out to get us. Job asked God: “…would You destroy me?” He didn’t know that in Job 2:6, God specifically told Satan to spare his life. Job lost a lot but he still had his life, his wife, his home, his friends and his mental capacity. May we always count our blessings, even in the mist of pain and suffering. And remember we don’t know the whole picture, right now we only see a part. May we keep the proper perspective of God. He is good and rich in grace. Job 12:10 says, the life of every living thing...

Our Mediator

Image
If only there were a mediator between us, someone who could bring us together. — Job 9:33 (NLT) …there is [only] one God, and [only] one Mediator between God and mankind, the Man Christ Jesus, (See 1 Timothy 2:5 AMP). He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises. (See Hebrews 8:6 NKJV) We have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world. (See 1 John 2:1) The accuser of the brethren, accuses us before our God day and night. (See Revelation 12:10) But we have Yeshua, our Redeemer. He is mighty and He pleads our case. For I know that my Redeemer lives, and He shall stand at last on the earth; — Job 19:25 (NKJV)

Worship at All Times

Image
Then Job arose and tore his robe and shaved his head, and he fell to the ground and worshiped. And he said, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I shall return there. Yahweh gave, and Yahweh has taken away. Blessed be the name of Yahweh.” — Job 1:20-21 (LSB) Job received one bad report after another. First, he was notified that all of his oxen and donkeys were taken and his servants with them killed. Then he was told, all of his sheep and his servants with them were burned up in a fire. Thirdly, he found out his camels were taken and his servants with them killed. In addition to all of that, he received the bad news that all ten of his children were dead. (See Job 1:14-19) Faced with all this devastation, Job 1:22 says: Through all this Job did not sin, nor did he give offense to God. Instead of getting an attitude and blaming God, He fell to the ground in submission and humility and worshiped Yahweh. How can we continue to worship God in the midst of tragedy and loss? First,...

Created in His Image

Image
God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.  — Genesis 1:27 (NASB1995) In Genesis 1:3, 1:10,1:12,1:18,1:21 and 1:25, God saw that what He made was good. However, on the sixth day, the day He created man, God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good. (See Genesis 1:31) Since we are made in the image of Elohim, our Creator, let us reflect His unconditional love, His amazing grace, and His marvelous kindness. For from Him [all things originate] and through Him [all things live and exist] and to Him are all things [directed]. To Him be glory and honor forever! Amen. (Romans 11:36 AMP) Through Him we are to live and function and have our identity... (See Acts 17:28 TPT). The nearness of God is our good; (See Psalms 73:28 NASB1995) O taste and see that Yahweh is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! (Psalms 34:8 LSB) O my soul, you have said to Yahweh, “You are my Lord; I have no good without You.” ...

Trust in the Lord

Image
“Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make.” — Proverbs 3:5 (TPT) It is prideful to think we can run our lives without Yahweh. And we know that pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall. (See Proverbs 16:18) Do not rely on your own ideas and opinions, nor follow the ways of this world. Trying to figure things out on your own can lead to frustration, confusion, and exhaustion. Instead, listen for the voice of Almighty God. In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, and He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way]. (Proverbs 3:6 AMP) For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly. (Psalms 84:11 NASB1995)

Commit Your Works

Image
Commit your works to the LORD [submit and trust them to Him], and your plans will succeed [if you respond to His will and guidance]. — Proverbs 16:3 (AMP) Before you begin executing your plans, submit them to Yahweh. And trust Him to lead you and guide you to take the right action, at the right time and in the right direction. In Psalms 32:8 (NLT) the LORD says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.” Let us be humble, patient, and teachable, as we faithfully follow Yahweh along the path that leads to life. But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also. — Matthew 6:33 (AMP)
