Let There Be Light
For God, who said, “Let there be light in the darkness,” has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ. We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves. —2 Corinthians 4:6-7 (NLT)
God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. (See 1 John 1:5) May we be open vessels unto Yahweh, that His light may shine through us, and illuminate the darkness in us and around us. Let us open our minds and renew them with the Word of God, that we may be transformed from the inside out. (See Romans 12:2) Let us clear out the clutter that our hearts may be open to receive His love and His peace and let it flow to those around us.
Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.” —John 8:12 (NASB1995)
