He Hears AND He Cares

“But it is wrong to say God doesn’t listen, to say the Almighty isn’t concerned.” —Job 35:13 (NLT)

In the midst of affliction and adversity, it may seem like God has abandoned you, or that your cries for help are falling on deaf ears. However, Psalms 34:15 (LSB) says: The eyes of Yahweh are toward the righteous and His ears are open to their cry for help. You can be assured that our Heavenly Father is always listening to the pleas of His children, and He will answer. In addition, 1 Peter 5:7 (AMP) says to cast all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully]. 

From the end of the earth I will cry to You, When my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. —Psalms 61:2 (NKJV)

For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the Law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach statutes and ordinances in Israel. — Ezra 7:10 (NKJV) May we prepare our hearts and set our minds to diligently read and study the Word of God. Then, apply it to our daily lives by actually doing what it says. Great peace have those who love the law of the LORD, and nothing causes them to stumble. (See Psalms 119:165 NKJV) As pressure and stress bear down on you, find joy in His commands. (See Psalms 119:143 NLT) Psalms 78:8 (NKJV) says, its a stubborn and rebellious generation, that did not set its heart aright, and whose spirit was not faithful to God. Blessed and favored by God are those who keep His testimonies, and who [consistently] seek Him and long for Him with all their heart. Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, take pleasure in Him]; again I will say, rejoice! — Philippians 4:4 (AMP) James 1:2-4 (NLT) says: “Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” Our joy is not to be based on the fluctuating circumstances of our lives. We experience fullness of joy in the Presence of Yahweh and He is always with us. No matter what season of life you are going through, have continual and contagious joy. Let your joy overflow and spill out onto those around you.
