Proclaim Liberty

“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, because the LORD has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;” —Isaiah 61:1 (NKJV)

When Yeshua read this Scripture in the synagogue, He said: “Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.” (See Luke 4:16-21) It is done! Yeshua brought the good news to the poor and afflicted. He healed the brokenhearted and set the captives free. He comforts all who mourn, and gives us beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. That we may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.” (See Isaiah 61:2-3 NKJV) We should no longer be slaves of sin. Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1 NKJV)

“I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.” —Isaiah 61:10 (NKJV)

Our Stability

Yahweh is exalted, for He dwells on high; He has filled Zion with justice and righteousness. And He will be the stability of your times, a wealth of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge; The fear of Yahweh is his treasure. — Isaiah 33:5-6 (LSB) Stability will not be found in the government, the balance of your bank account, or any material possessions. The state of this world is constantly changing and full of turmoil and conflict. Yahweh is the stability of our times, and He does not change. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will never be shaken. (Psalms 62:2 NLT) Trust in Yahweh forever, for in Yah— Yahweh Himself— we have an everlasting Rock.
