Favor for Life

Sing praise to the LORD, you saints of His, and give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name. For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. —Psalms 30:4-5 (NKJV)

You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, to the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to You forever. (Psalms 30:11-12 NKJV) Yahweh blesses the righteous one, He surrounds him with favor as with a large shield. (See Psalms 5:12 LSB) May we sing praise to Him and give Him thanks, even during our darkest days, knowing that He will deliver us.

Patient Endurance

Then you will receive all that he has promised. ” — Hebrews 10:35-36 (NLT) Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. (Hebrews 10:23) Hebrews 10:37-38 (NLT)  says: “For in just a little while, the Coming One will come and not delay. And my righteous ones will live by faith. But I will take no pleasure in anyone who turns away.” But we are not like those who turn away from God to their own destruction. We are the faithful ones, whose souls will be saved.” (Hebrews 10:39 NLT) We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need.
