Forgiven & Free!

“The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me (the Messiah), because He has anointed Me to preach the good news to the poor. He has sent Me to announce release (pardon, forgiveness) to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free those who are oppressed (downtrodden, bruised, crushed by tragedy),” Luke 4:18 (AMP)

When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh (worldliness, manner of life), God made you alive together with Christ, having [freely] forgiven us all our sins, (Colossians 2:13 AMP) In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace which He lavished on us... (See Ephesians 1:7-8). How blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered! How blessed is the man whose iniquity Yahweh will not take into account, and in whose spirit there is no deceit! (Psalms 32:1-2 LSB)

And having been set free from sin, you have become the slaves of righteousness [of conformity to God’s will and purpose]. (Romans 6:18 AMP) For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. (Galatians 5:13 NASB1995)
