Know His Name

The LORD also will be a refuge and a stronghold for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble; And those who know Your name [who have experienced Your precious mercy] will put their confident trust in You, for You, O LORD, have not abandoned those who seek You. —Psalms 9:9-10 (AMP)

Our help is in the name of Yahweh, Who made heaven and earth. (Psalms 124:8 LSB) His name endures forever. He is El Elyon, the God Most High, over all the earth. He is El Roi, the God-Who-Sees. Call upon His name and He will answer. Now I know that Yahweh saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven with the saving might of His right hand. Some boast in chariots and some in horses, but we will boast in the name of Yahweh, our God. (Psalms 20:6-7 LSB) He is Elohim, the all-powerful One. May our hearts be united to fear His name. (See Psalms 86:11)

Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not dread; For Yah—Yahweh Himself—is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation.” (Isaiah 12:2 LSB) O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt His name together. (Psalms 34:3 NASB1995) Ascribe to Yahweh the glory of His name; Worship Yahweh in the splendor of holiness. (Psalms 29:2 LSB) Blessed be the name of the LORD From this time forth and forevermore! (Psalms 113:2 NKJV)

Then, apply it to our daily lives by actually doing what it says. Great peace have those who love the law of the LORD, and nothing causes them to stumble. (See Psalms 119:143 NLT) Psalms 78:8 (NKJV) says, its a stubborn and rebellious generation, that did not set its heart aright, and whose spirit was not faithful to God. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” Our joy is not to be based on the fluctuating circumstances of our lives. We experience fullness of joy in the Presence of Yahweh and He is always with us. No matter what season of life you are going through, have continual and contagious joy. Let your joy overflow and spill out onto those around you.
