An Open Door

“And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: He who is holy, who is true, who has the key of David, who opens and no one will shut, and who shuts and no one opens, says this: ‘I know your deeds. Behold, I have put before you an open door which no one can shut, because you have a little power, and have kept My word, and have not denied My name. —Revelation 3:7-8 (NASB1995)

Like the faithful church in Philadelphia, keep the Word of God and never deny His name. And know that no one can shut the door the Lord opens for you. However, not every open door of opportunity is of the Lord. Let us ask for wisdom and discernment to go through the open door God has for us, and to proceed at the proper time.

Keep on asking and it will be given you; keep on seeking and you will find; keep on knocking [reverently] and [the door] will be opened to you. For everyone who keeps on asking receives; and he who keeps on seeking finds; and to him who keeps on knocking, [the door] will be opened. (Matthew 7:7-8 AMPC)

Our Stability
