Cast Your Cares

casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully]. 1 Peter 5:7 (AMP)

I appreciate that the Word says to “cast” our cares. When we throw something, we increase the distance between what is thrown and ourselves, versus just laying it down. And the very act of casting something requires us to let it go. Therefore, cast every care, every concern and all your anxious thoughts on God, and leave them there. Why? Because He tenderly cares for you. So, do not fret, and have no fear. He continually watches over you.

Here’s what Yahweh says to you: “I know all about the marvelous destiny I have in store for you, a future planned out in detail. My intention is not to harm you but to surround you with peace and prosperity and to give you a beautiful future, glistening with hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11 TPT) Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you.” (Ephesians 3:20 TPT)
